Since god was a human production w/c synthesized society for so long, we than can come up with a better alternative myth. Philosophizing with a hammer smashes god to than build up a better god. Create by destroying. Human behavior masks alot of human motives. Luther says god has many masks ie we dont know his motives. Guilt and sin is what FN wants to get rid of. These are metaphysical. Guilt is a blemished soul. Why are the 7 deadly sins sins? Pride is an excessive belief in one's own abilities-Aristotle= self esteem
Envy is wanting what others have, be it status, abilities, or possessions-basic human emotion
Gluttony is the desire to eat or consume more than you require-to be human
Lust is a powerful craving for such as sex, power and money-FN says it should be enjoyed
Anger is the loss of rational self-control and the desire to harm others-Aristotle-not to get angry appropriately is to be a fool
Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain-part of human circus
Sloth is laziness and the avoidance of work-most of us probably could use a dose of this. FN-romans, napoleon advanced human society. Also hitler advanced our knowledge of our own savagery.
